Students attend classes at the Universidad de Sevilla through the International College of Seville (ICS), an agency which administers the program. Founded in 1982, ICS is a private, independent, cultural association whose basic aim is to serve as a center for the promotion of international education. Located in a three-story Andalusian villa just minutes away from the University, ICS provides all logistical support services on-site.

Through ICS, advanced language students may enroll in classes at the Universidad de Sevilla and take classes from Facultad de Filologia and the Facultad de Geografia e Historia in the areas of Spanish language, literature, art, geography, and history. All courses are taught in Spanish by professors at the Universidad de Sevilla.
ICS offers history, art, political science, economics,
business and marketing classes taught in English,
in addition to Spanish language and literature classes. Click here for more information.
Students have the following options in course selection:
OPTION A: Universidad de Sevilla classes only. All classes are taught in Spanish.
OPTION B: ICS classes only. All classes are taught in Spanish and/or English. Students must take at least one language course.
OPTION C: Universidad de Sevilla and ICS classes. Students must take at least one language course.
With each of the above options, students must take one of the two UHM Resident Director's courses, when available. Details
of courses being offered for the upcoming semester are available at the Study
Abroad Center.
Students must be enrolled in a minimum course load of four classes or 12 credits. Courses taken at the Universidad
de Sevilla and ICS will appear on UHM transcripts
as UHM credits.
