Students
will be evaluated on their overall day-to-day
participation (40%), including attitude, teamwork,
sensitivity
(to other students, as well as to Rapanui community
members), and intellectual engagement (thinking,
asking relevant questions, learning).
Students will also be evaluated on their reading,
critical
evaluations, and contributions to discussions
(20%); and quality of field and laboratory work,
including
field book recording (40%). We expect each of
you to participate in as wide a range of activities
as possible, thus learning the most you can during
our field research. As you do your work, please
feel free to ask us for feedback/evaluation.
