Archaeology Field Methods
Rapa Nui Archaeological Field School

Students will be evaluated on their overall day-to-day participation (40%), including attitude, teamwork, sensitivity (to other students, as well as to Rapanui community members), and intellectual engagement (thinking, asking relevant questions, learning). Students will also be evaluated on their reading, critical evaluations, and contributions to discussions (20%); and quality of field and laboratory work, including field book recording (40%). We expect each of you to participate in as wide a range of activities as possible, thus learning the most you can during our field research. As you do your work, please feel free to ask us for feedback/evaluation.
