Hainan, China Summer Program
The Study Abroad program in Hainan, China is hosted by the College of Liberal Arts at Hainan University, and the focus of study is Mandarin language and culture. Students earn eight UHM Chinese language credits for coursework completed in Hainan.

A completed UHM Study Abroad Center summer application, $30 application fee, and two letters of recommendation must be received by the Study Abroad Center by February 15, 2013 in order to receive consideration. Non-UHM students must also submit official transcripts from all colleges and universities attended.
Immediately upon acceptance to the program, students are required to pay an initial payment that is non-refundable of $500.00 to ensure a place in the program. This initial payment will be applied toward the cost of the program.
