Rapa Nui, Chile Summer ProgramThe Study Abroad program in Rapa Nui was established in 2003. The program's focus is Archaeological Field Work. Students will receive six UHM credits for coursework at either the undergraduate or graduate level. The program dates for the summer 2010 are dependent on direction of travel. Via Tahiti the dates are May 31 to June 23 and via Santiago the dates are May 30 to June 24. The Resident Director for this summer will be Terry Hunt from the Anthropology Department. A completed UHM Study Abroad Center summer application, $20 application fee, and two letters of recommendation must be received by the Study Abroad Center by February 17 in order to receive consideration. Non-UHM students must also submit official transcripts from all colleges and universities attended. |
