The University of Hawaii at Manoa's Semester in Paris Study Abroad program is offered in partnership with the American Business School (ABS). ABS is accredited by the International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education (IACBE), an American accrediting body based in Kansas and is managed by the Institut de Gestion Sociale (IGS), a private, not-for-profit French training group.
ABS's program is comprehensive in nature, enabling students to fulfill requirements in both business and non-business fields. All courses are taught in English. Its student body is French and international. International students represent 65 different countries. UHM students may take French or another European language course together with other courses in English at ABS. Those students who wish to study their entire semester in French language and literature may do so at the Universite de Paris Sorbonne, facilitated by ABS as well.
