The UHM study abroad program in Florence, Italy, established in 2005, enables students to enroll in a variety of courses.  The program is hosted by Lorenzo de Medici, and the approximate period of study in the fall is September through December, and February through May in the spring.

A completed UHM Study Abroad Center semester application, $20 application fee, and three letters of recommendation must be received by the Study Abroad Center by the following dates in order to receive consideration.  Non-UHM students must also submit official transcripts from all colleges and universities attended.

Fall semester: April 1

Spring semester: October 15

Year: April 1

Note: Students may apply for two semesters. However, continuation for the second semester is contingent upon successful completion of the first semester.
