The UHM Semester in Florence offers students courses both in English and Italian. Students must take at least one of the two courses offered by the UHM Resident Director, when applicable.

Courses in Fashion Design, Textiles, Graphic Arts, Painting & Drawing, Mixed Media, Interior Design, Ceramics, Sculpture, Printmaking, Jewelry, Restoration, and Performing Arts.
Academic Programs (classes taught in English)
Courses in International Business, International Studies, History, Political Science, Sociology, Psychology, Mass Communication, Mathematics, Environmental Studies, Art History, History of Architecture, Literature, Classical Studies, Philosophy, Women's Studies, and Italian Cuisine.
Italian Language School (classes taught in Italian)
Courses in Italian Language (beginning, intermediate, & advanced levels), Art History, Literature, Performing Arts.
All courses are taught in English (with the exception of Italian language) by professors at Lorenzo de Medici. Approved ourses
taken at LdM will appear on UHM transcripts
