The UHM summer study abroad program in Florence, Italy, established in 1995, is hosted by Centro Linguistico Italiano Dante Alighieri.  Students earn six UHM credits in Italian language, and/or Art and History (in English).  The program runs for the month of June.

The UHM Faculty Resident Director for Summer 2008 is Tamara Albertini from the Philosophy Department.

A completed UHM Study Abroad Center summer application, $20 application fee, and two letters of recommendation must be received by the Study Abroad Center by February 17 in order to receive consideration.  Non-UHM students must also submit official transcripts from all colleges and universities attended.
