Denmark's International Study Program (DIS))is a specialized institution of higher education affiliated with the University of Copenhagen and financially supported and approved by the Danish Ministry of Education. DIS was founded in 1959 with the purpose of providing American undergraduate students with a liberal arts junior year abroad program. The courses are taught in English by Danish professors from the University of Copenhagen or the Royal Academy of Arts, School of Architecture.
