Students will have an opportunity to travel to other regions of Europe, which enhances classroom instruction. The mandatory study tours, considered part of the academic component of the program, are included in the total program cost. Study tour locations to various European countries depends on the program that students select. All students, regardless of program, will have a three-day study tour of Denmark, visiting examples of Danish architecture,
landscape architecture, and urban planning. The objectives
of the tour are to study contemporary and historical
Danish architecture; and to give an impression of
Danish history, geography and culture outside the
Copenhagen region.
In addition, Copenhagen
has a lot to offer, from the world famous Royal Danish
Ballet, to major art exhibitions, modern design shops
and the latest movies. For entertainment there are
rock concerts, restaurants, progressive dance bars,
and jazz clubs.
