*The program cost includes DIS program and housing fees, textbooks, medical, accident and limited liability insurance, orientation, mandatory study tours, local transportation, and UHM Study Abroad and other incidental fees. Cost excludes roundtrip airfare between Honolulu and Copenhagen.

Meals are not included for students staying in the kollegiumThe above cost does not reflect personal expenses. The amount of funds to budget in this category depends on your personal spending habits. This category may include entertainment expenses such as tickets for theaters, movies and museums. Participation in the local night life, eating out, shopping for gifts, emergency expenses, and personal travel are also items to take into consideration.

FINANCIAL AID
FOR UHM STUDENTS ONLY: In order to receive financial aid, please ensure that either: a) you are receiving financial aid during the semester preceding your study abroad program, or b) you complete the Financial Aid application during the preceding semester.

NON-UHM STUDENTS (those attending other colleges and universities during the regular school year) must apply for financial aid at their home institutions

SCHOLARSHIPS
A DIS scholarship of up to $1,000.00 and a Work Study Scholarship of up to $300.00 per semester are offered to students enrolled in the program. FAFSA must be filed. Contact the Study Abroad Center for information and eligibility.
