*Cost includes FUBiS program fees, accommodation in the student dorm, excursions, ground transportation, cell phone, health insurance and UHM Study Abroad and other incidental fees. The cost does not include roundtrip airfare between Honolulu and Berlin.  Students have the option of taking the group flight arranged by the UHM Study Abroad Center.  There is an additional supplement for the homestay option.

The above cost does not reflect personal expenses. The amount of funds to budget in this category depends on your personal spending habits. This category may include entertainment expenses such as tickets for theaters, movies and museums. Participation in the local nightlife, eating out, shopping for gifts, emergency expenses, and personal travel are also items to take into consideration.

FINANCIAL AID
FOR UHM STUDENTS ONLY: In order to receive financial aid for the summer study abroad program, please ensure that either: a) you are receiving financial aid during the spring semester, or b) you complete the Financial Aid application during the spring semester.
