The study abroad program in Berlin, Germany offers students the opportunity to study German language and culture or take classes in English.  While on the six-week program, students receive 6 UHM credits for coursework completed.  The approximate period of study is from June through mid-July.

The UHM Faculty Resident Director for Summer 2008 is Markus Wessendorf from the Department of Theater and Dance.

A completed UHM Study Abroad Center summer application, $20 application fee, and two letters of recommendation must be received by the Study Abroad Center by February 17 in order to receive consideration.  Non-UHM students must also submit official transcripts from all colleges and universities attended.
