Dear Study Abroad Alum,
Welcome back! Would it be fair to say that the world will never be the same for you now? Remember your study abroad experience did not end when you left your host country – it just began. What new values, interests and skills did you bring home with you and how will you apply them to the next few years of your life? It really is up to you to apply what you’ve learned – but if you are not careful you may lose touch with the new interests and skills that you have acquired.
One of the immediate ways that you can apply your new interests and skills is through continued participation with the UHM Study Abroad Center. We need volunteers who can share their experiences with other potential study abroad students. Help spread the word about study abroad by doing 5 minute classroom presentations on your experiences or volunteer to help out at our twice yearly Study Abroad Fairs.
