Total Program Cost: $12,847 *  (Fall 2007 price)

* Cost includes Lorenzo de Medici program and homestay fees (double accommodation), two excursions, partial meals, health insurance, airport pick-up, city visits, cell phone, and UHM Study Abroad and other incidental fees. Single rooms are available at a supplement. 

Roundtrip airfare between Honolulu and Florence is not included.  Students have the option of taking the group flight organized by the UHM Study Abroad Center.  The cost also does not include textbooks, lab fees and meals not covered above.

The above cost does not reflect personal expenses. The amount of funds to budget in this category depends on your personal spending habits. This category may include entertainment expenses such as tickets for theaters, movies, and museums. Participation in the local nightlife, eating out, shopping for gifts, emergency expenses, and personal travel are also items to take into consideration.

FOR UHM STUDENTS ONLY: In order to receive financial aid, please ensure that either: a) you are receiving financial aid during the semester preceding your study abroad program, or b) you complete the Financial Aid application during the preceding semester.
